What to expect

After pickup from a central Dubai hotel, travel into the desert before hopping in a shared open-top classic Land Rover, a desert classic used extensively in the 1950s. Then, with a knowledgeable driver, tour the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve while listening to stories about the history of Dubai and its fauna and flora, and see animals such as gazelles and oryxes. He’ll stop to enjoy the sunset during a falconry session, then head to a Bedouin-style desert camp at a royal-owned retreat. Here, you can enjoy Arabic coffee and various Emirati activities such as bread-making demonstrations, henna tattoos and camel rides before sitting down at a shared Bedouin-style table for a local multi-course dinner. After a popular dance, music show, and optional shisha (Arabic water pipe), enjoy a minivan transfer to your hotel, where your journey ends.
